It’s a new take on old standards. Grizzlee Train have taken their unique brand of romping, stomping alt-roots and rock from Australia’s Central Coast to audiences all over the world. Brandon Dodd and Josh Dufficy take the sound of vintage blues rock and drench it with filthy modern guitar licks and a whole lot of stomp. They are one of Australia’s most road-worn two-piece bands, with an arsenal of EPs and international tours behind them.

Since their official launch in late 2013, the energetic pair has won a stack of awards including being crowned winners of the prestigious 2015 Bluesfest Byron Bay Busking Competition. Dodd and Dufficy have shared stages and festival bills with some of the world’s finest acts in Australia, Europe and the United States. They are building a reputation for being one of the industry’s hardest-working bands as they tour the world in their own right, and conquer sold-out stadiums and theatres as part of the incomparable Kasey Chambers’ band.
“Grizzlee Train are a sweet & soulful band, two seriously fine players – Kasey Chambers has surrounded herself with some amazing musicians!”– Jimmy Barnes
The band released their debut EP Come Back Around – featuring singles Soldier For You and Morning Bell – in 2015. They spent a hectic year juggling constant touring while continuing to write and record their next release. In January 2016, they unveiled their second EP Burned Him Again, under the extraordinary vision and guidance of award-winning producer Nash Chambers.
The pair will round out 2017 with the release of their third EP, All About You. The new release has the trademark Grizzlee Train rock and stomp sound at its core – but it also explores a uniquely heavy and dark musical territory they have only lightly touched on in their previous records. Dodd and Dufficy are flying the flag for independent musicians as they take their extensive musical back catalogue and adrenaline-fuelled live show to audiences across the globe. Grizzlee Train blend an old-school core with sharp new-age kicks – a stripped-back firing of raw energy and honest music, one of Australia’s most exciting, energetic live acts.
Grizzlee Train is touring their upcoming EP All About You this Spring.
